【摘要】:AmpulizationisdesirableinordertominimizevariabilityandmaximizetheintegrityofcalibrationstandardsorRMs,orboth,beingusedincalibrationofanalyticalinstrumentsandinvalidationofanalyticaltestmethodsinround-robinorinterlaboratorycross-checkprograms.Thispracticeisintendedtobeusedwhenthehighestdegreeofconfidenceinintegrityofamaterialisdesired.ThispracticeisintendedtobeusedwhenitisdesirabletomaintainthelongtermstorageofgasolineandrelatedliquidhydrocarbonRMs,controls,orcalibrationstandardsforretainorrepositorypurposes.Thispracticemaynotbeapplicabletomaterialsthatcontainhighpercentagesofdissolvedgases,ortohighlyviscousmaterials,duetothedifficultyinvolvedintransferringsuchmaterialswithoutencounteringlossesofcomponentsorensuringsamplehomogeneity.1.1Thispracticecoversageneralguidefortheampulizationandstorageofgasolineandrelatedhydrocarbonmixturesthataretobeusedascalibrationstandardsorreferencematerials.Thispracticeaddressesmaterials,solutions,ormixtures,whichmaycontainvolatilecomponents.Thispracticeisnotintendedtoaddresstheampulizationofhighlyviscousliquids,materialsthataresolidatroomtemperature,ormaterialsthathavehighpercentagesofdissolvedgasesthatcannotbehandledunderreasonablecoolingtemperaturesandatnormalatmosphericpressurewithoutlossesofthesevolatilecomponents.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletoautomatedampulefillingandsealingmachinesaswellastomanualampulefillingdevices,suchaspipettesandhand-operatedliquiddispensers.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
