【摘要】:CTMmustbeproperlymanufacturedinamannerconsistentwithaminimumlevelofqualitycontrolasdeterminedbyin-housetestingofthefinalproduct.Thispracticesuggesttypesoftests,themethodsofthetestingandtheminimumtestingfrequencies.Itshouldbeclearlyrecognizedthatmanufacturersmayperformadditionaltestsoratagreaterfrequencythanrequiredinthispractice,orboth.Inthiscasethemanufacturerx2019;squalitycontrolplanwilltakeprecedenceoverthispractice.ThequotedtestsandtestmethodsinTable1mustappearintheQCplanandQCreport.ItshouldalsoberecognizedthatpurchasersandinstallersofCTMmayrequireadditionaltestsoragreaterfrequencythancalledforinthispracticeorboth.Theorganization(s)producingsuchprojectspecificspecificationorqualityassuranceplanshouldrecognizethatsuchrequirementsarebeyondthecurrentstateofthepractice.Ifsucharequestismadebythepurchasersorinstallers,theyshouldclearlycommunicatetherequirementstothemanufacturerorsupplierduringthecontractdecisionsinorderthatdisputesdonotariseatasubsequenttime.ThispracticeprovidesameansbywhichsamplesofCTMmaybeselectedtoprovideastatisticallyvalidsampleforselectionoftestspecimenswithoutpreviousknowledgeofthevariabilitythatmayexistbetweenproductionunits.TheprinciplesstatedinPracticeD4271,andtheillustrativetextinthatpracticecanbeusedbythetestmethodauthorsinpreparingsamplingstatements.1.1ThispracticecoversthemanufacturingqualitycontrolofConsumerTrampoline-BedMaterial(CTM),describingtypesoftests,thepropertestmethods,minimumtestingfrequencies,andbestpracticesforsampling.1.2Thispracticeisintendedtoaidmanufacturers,suppliers,purchasers,installers,andendusersofCTMinestablishingaminimumlevelofeffortformaintainingqualitycontrol.1.3Thispracticedoesnotaddressmanufacturingqualityassurance,productacceptancetesting,orconformancetesting.TheseareindependentactivitiestakenbyorganizationsotherthantheCTMmanufacturer.1.4ThispracticecoversproceduresforsamplingCTMforthepurposeofmanufacturingqualitycontrol(MQC).Theseproceduresaredesignedtoensurethecorrectnumberofrepresentativesamplesareobtainedandproperlyreportedbythemanufacturer.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
