【摘要】:Thistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecausecurrentestimatesofbetween-laboratoryprecisionareacceptableandthemethodisusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.5.1.1Iftherearedifferencesorpracticalsignficancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,thetestsamplestobeusedareashomogeneousaspossible,aredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultsareobtained,andareassignedrandomlyinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Othermaterialswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Elapsedtimebetweenspinningandtestinghasamarkedeffectontheresultsofthedrawtensiontest,especiallyduringthefirst24h.Therefore,iftestedwithin24hofspinning,specimensshouldbecomparedonlyiftestedafterthesameelapsedtime.Nospecimenshouldbetestedwithin4hofspinningbecausetheagingprocessisatitsmostrapidrateduringthisperiod,andthedifferencesinrateduetofiberstructurearemostpronounced.Theextensionforceofmanufacturedfilamentyarnsisrelatedtothealignmentofthemoleculesintheyarnfilaments,whichinfluencestheyarnprocessingbehavior.Knowledgeofthispropertyofpartiallyorientedyarnisusefultodetermineprocessingconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofextensionforcedevelopedwhiledrawingapartiallyorientedfilamentyarn.1.2Thistestmethodprovidesanestimateoftheyarnorientationbymeansofcontinuousdrawingoftheyarnwhilerunningbetweenpairsofdrawrollsofdifferentsurfacespeeds.1.3Thistestmethodappliestopartiallyorientedfilamentyarnslessthan33.3tex(300denier),butitcanbeusedforhigherdeniersbyapplyingthetestconditionsasdirectedinAppendixX1.1.4ThistestmethodwaswritteninSIunits.Theinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedinthistestmethodarenotnecessarilyexactequivalentsoftheSIunits.Eithersystemofunitsmaybeusedinthistestmethod.Incaseofreferencedecisions,theSIunitswillprevail.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
