【摘要】:ThisCodeprovidesrulesfortesting,andforthecomputationandtabulationoftheresultsoftestsforalltypesofreciprocatinginternalcombustionengines,inordertodeterminepowerandfuelconsumption.TheobjectsoftestingunderthisCodeisthedeterminationof:(a)Netpoweroutput;and(b)Rateoffuelconsumptionand/orenergyinput.ApplicationofthisCodeislimitedtoengineassembliesasdefinedbyCodeEngineAssembly:Intheabsenceofspecifiedstipulationstheengineassemblytobetestedshallconsistoftheenginecompletewithessentialapparatusforselfsustainedcontinuousoperation.Generallytheseconsistoftheequipmentrequiredfor:fuelintroduction,airinduction,(i.e.scavengingorsupercharging),ignition,lubrication,andprimaryengineandchargeaircooling.
