【摘要】:Thevoidcontentofacompositemaysignificantlyaffectsomeofitsmechanicalproperties.Highervoidcontentsusuallymeanlowerfatigueresistance,greatersusceptibilitytowaterpenetrationandweathering,andincreasedvariationorscatterinstrengthproperties.Theknowledgeofvoidcontentisdesirableforestimationofqualityofcomposites.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthevoidcontentofreinforcedplasticsor"composites."Thetestmethodsareapplicabletocompositesforwhichtheeffectsofignitiononthematerialsareknown.Mostplastics,glass,andasbestosreinforcementsfallintothisclass.Thesetestmethodsarenotapplicabletocompositesforwhichtheeffectsofignitionontheplastics,thereinforcement,andanyfillersareunknown.Thisclassmayincludesiliconeresins,whichdonotburnoffcompletely,reinforcementsconsistingofmetals,organicmaterials,orinorganicmaterialswhichmaygainorloseweight,andfillersconsistingofoxides,carbonates,etc.,whichmaygainorloseweight.Notethatseparateweightlosstestsofindividualmaterialswillusually,butnotnecessarily,givethesameresultaswhenallthematerialsarecombined.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothesetestmethods.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
